"Parkinson's meets tango"

Dance workshop for patients and relatives on 14 May

Music and dance enthusiasts as well as their relatives and friends who would like to discover a new training opportunity despite Parkinson's, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases are cordially invited to a dance workshop on 14 May 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the ballroom of Chemnitz Hospital, Dresdner Str. 178 (Building 12 above the cafeteria). Admission is free.

No previous dance experience is required. It is all about having fun and enjoying movement to tango music and not about performance requirements.
Note: Please bring a change of comfortable shoes for dancing.

The free dance workshop is organised jointly by the Parkinson's self-help group AParT - Aktiver Parkinson Treff (SHG for Parkinson's sufferers and relatives), the City of Chemnitz Health Department, Chemnitz Hospital, Tanzportclub Synchron and Tanzschule Lippmann. This project is financed by AOK plus, the health insurance company for Saxony and Thuringia.

Enquiries can be answered by calling 0371 4790471.
