Parking ticket machines are locked over New Year's Eve
Once again this year, all municipal parking ticket machines will be locked over New Year's Eve. This procedure has proven successful in previous years.
The parking ticket machines will be out of service from Wednesday, 27 December 2023, up to and including Tuesday, 2 January 2024. During this time, the parking disc must be inserted when parking. The maximum parking duration can be seen on the tariff signs on the parking ticket machines or from the existing signage.
The flaps are blocked so that fireworks cannot be ignited in the dispensing compartment of the machines. This prevents damage that would result in costly repairs.
