Overtaking ban for lorries on the Südring is ordered
On the Südring, lorries over 3.5 t cannot overtake quickly on the incline between Helbersdorfer Straße and the Stollberger Straße bridge. For this reason, from 9 December 2014, overtaking by HGVs will be prohibited on the Südring in the section from Helbersdorfer Straße to the Stollberger Straße ramp.
This measure is intended to improve the safety and fluidity of traffic. It is also expected to reduce noise and exhaust pollution.
