Over-allocation of funds for the renovation and extension of the large gymnasium
At its meeting today, the city council decided to allocate additional funds totalling EUR 850,000 for the renovation and extension of the large gymnasium.
Due to major differences with the construction management commissioned by the city and a lack of transparency, the city had to part ways with the construction management of the large gymnasium. As a result, a new construction management team analysed the situation at the hall, which has only recently been available in full: According to this, the city has to expect both significantly increased costs and a major delay in the construction project. According to the analysis now available, the city will incur additional costs of around 850,000 euros. The aim is to complete the project this year.
