Opening of the "Neue HeimA(r)T" exhibition

Wednesday, 30 November 2016 at 7 pm in the vhs-galerie, 4th floor in the TIETZ Exhibition until the end of the year

The exhibition "Neue HeimA(r)T" opens on Wednesday, 30 November 2016, at 7 pm at the adult education centre in the TIETZ. The association "beseder" e. V. is presenting works from the international contemporary art scene in Chemnitz in cooperation with the City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation. Jeffrey Goldberg (piano) will improvise to individual works of art at the vernissage with all participating artists. The exhibition can be seen until the end of the year during opening hours in the vhs-galerie on the 4th floor of the TIETZ. Admission is free.

Chemnitz is a city with a special affinity for the visual arts and is sometimes considered an "insider tip" among art connoisseurs. In recent years, many high-calibre artists from abroad - from the former Soviet Union, America, Asia and the Arab world - have found a new home in the former Saxon Manchester. The exhibition organised by the cultural art association "beseder" e. V. provides an insight into their work with around 80 works of art on display and opens up different perspectives on migration and home.

Opening hours of the exhibition:
Monday to Friday: 08:30-19:00
Saturday: 09:30-19:00
Sunday: closed
