Opening of sports facilities in the city of Chemnitz from 14 January
Due to the current Saxon Corona Emergency Ordinance, the sports facilities of the city of Chemnitz will open from 14 January under the following conditions for:
- Instructors with a 3G certificate
- School sports
- Children up to the age of 18
- Exercising sports as part of service sports, sports science courses, in-depth sports training, swimming courses as well as for competitive athletes of the federal and state squads, licensed professional athletes and professional athletes, young athletes who train in a junior performance centre for professional team sports (with 3G proof)
The 2G regulation applies to outdoor sports facilities. The 2G+ regulation applies in indoor sports facilities.
The submission of this additional test certificate can be waived for
- boostered persons,
- Children up to the age of 6,
- Persons for whom there is no vaccination recommendation from the Standing Vaccination Commission,
- Persons who are fully vaccinated and can also provide proof of recovery
- fully vaccinated persons whose last individual vaccination was at least 14 days and a maximum of three months ago.
Sporting events
The 2G+ regulation applies to spectators at sporting events.
The permitted capacity utilisation may
- no more than 50 per cent of the respective maximum capacity, but no more than 500 spectators at the same time, or
- no more than 25 per cent of the respective maximum capacity, but no more than 1,000 spectators at any one time.
