Opening hours of the outdoor pools in the off-season
Gablenz and "Am Südring" indoor swimming pools for schools and clubs
Chemnitz's four outdoor pools are open daily from 10 am to 8 pm until Sunday, 12 August.
From Monday, 13 August, the outdoor pools will be open daily from 11 am to 6 pm . If the weather is fine, the swimming days can be extended by one hour in the evening (until 7 pm).
When school starts on 13 August, the Gablenz and "Am Südring" indoor swimming pools will be available again for scheduled use by schools and clubs.
Public swimming in the Gablenz indoor swimming pool will continue to be possible during special opening hours until 26 August:
Mondays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursdays 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sundays 9 am to 3 pm
The measures to renew the large filter technology at the Chemnitz municipal swimming pool are on schedule. The city pool is scheduled to reopen on 10 September.
