Open day at the public health department
Multiple sclerosis self-help group "Offensiv" invites you on 27 May
To mark "World Multiple Sclerosis Day", the "Offensiv" self-help group is organising an open day at the public health department, Rathausstraße 8. All new sufferers, relatives and interested parties are invited to the open day.
On the fourth floor of the public health department on 27 May from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the theme will be: "Why am I in a self-help group and what does it do for me?" The members of the self-help groups will be happy to answer questions and talk to you. The games ambassador from the aphasia group will also be demonstrating programmes that can be used to train and improve memory at home. The "Creative Design" and "Cognitive Training" groups, which are also part of the "Offensiv" self-help group, will also be presented.
Another open day will take place at the AOK in Müllerstraße 42. This will be about long-term rehabilitation in a cognitive training self-help group.
Contact: The contact person for the open day is Karla Brümmer, call 0371/425775.
