Online English course in summer
VHS@home: on 28 and 29 July, from 4 p.m. each day
The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites all interested parties to take a short virtual trip to England on Wednesday and Thursday, 28 and 29 July, starting at 4 pm.
No previous knowledge is required to take part in this course. Participation is free of charge. Anyone interested can register until the day before at www.vhs-chemnitz.de, by e-mail to fremdsprachen(at)vhs-chemnitz.de or by telephone on 0371 488 4343. You will receive an access link by e-mail on the day of the course.
In the summer English course, participants "visit" well-known sights online, such as wild and romantic Cornwall or the lively City of London.
In the process, they get to know the country's culture better. Along the way, participants practise simple phrases and idioms for their next trip to the British Isles. They will be able to order fish and chips in English in the pub.
