Online course on the topic of high sensitivity

VHS event on 13 January, 5 to 7.15 pm

On Wednesday, 13 January, from 5 to 7.15 p.m., the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre will continue its series of online lectures on the topic of high sensitivity. Participation costs 12 euros. Anyone interested can register at www.vhs-chemnitz.de by 12 noon on 13 January and will then receive an access link.

In this lecture, high sensitivity will be explained from a scientific perspective. Interested parties will learn what is associated with high sensitivity as a personality trait and what consequences it can have for health.

It is estimated that around 15 to 20 per cent of the population are highly sensitive. High sensitivity is not a diagnosis, but an innate personality trait. Highly sensitive people often have a keen sense of perception. At the same time, they are flooded with sensory stimuli more quickly than other people. They therefore need more opportunities to withdraw.
