It is now possible to make appointments with the registration office online via the City of Chemnitz's appointment portal.
Appointments for the following services can be conveniently booked online at www.chemnitz.de/terminvereinbarung:
- Identity card and passport matters
- Registration, re-registration and deregistration of residence
- Other services (e.g. notarisations, registration certificates)
After completing the online booking process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the corresponding booking number. This number must be brought to the booked appointment. It is not necessary to register or sign in again on site; the number is automatically displayed in the registration office's call system at the time of the appointment. This eliminates lengthy waiting times and makes it easier to plan the desired appointment.
The registration office also requests that requests that do not necessarily require a personal appointment be submitted by e-mail, fax or letter. The possible application methods can be found in the respective service in the City of Chemnitz service portal at www.chemnitz.de/dienstleistungsportal.
The online appointment system is a further building block in the implementation of the Digital Agenda of Chemnitz City Council. In addition to the services provided by the Citizens' Office, appointments for services provided by other offices will also be offered via the appointment portal in the future.
