"One world percussion" An evening concert with Hakim Ludin
Workshop and concert on 7 September 2018
On Friday, 7 September 2018, a percussion workshop and concert with the internationally renowned percussionist and exceptional artist Hakim Ludin will take place in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. The workshop starts at 3 pm. The participation fee is 5 euros. The organiser asks for advance registration.
The concert takes place at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost 15 euros, concessions 10 euros.
The shared experience, the interaction with the group, is part of the experience at the PERCUSSION-WORKSHOP. Based on ancient rhythmic traditions from Asia, Hakim Ludin has developed rhythm didactics with special syllabic language and clapping techniques. This trains concentration and independence.
The "One world percussion" concert evening with Hakim Ludin is always an event. Born in Kabul (Afghanistan), the internationally recognised percussionist and exceptional artist delights audiences with his rhythmic works of art. In 2011 and 2012, he surprised audiences with his solo performances on the tours of Konstantin Wecker and Hannes Wader as well as at the concert evenings with Roger Willemsen as part of Lit.Cologne and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Hakim Ludin's concert evening "One world percussion" moves playfully between percussive aesthetics and imaginative soundscapes. "One world percussion" is an artistic percussion concert paired with unique entertainment and background information on the instruments.
The guest performance was made possible by the support of the Lions Club Wasserschloß Klaffenbach.
