The U18 elections will take place on 17 September 2021 to mark the 2021 Bundestag election. U18 elections are a format of political education and are held nine days before the official election date. They put the concerns of young people centre stage during the hot phase of the election campaign. At the same time, young people are encouraged to engage with political issues in a playful way. The aim of U18 elections is to get as many children and young people as possible interested in politics in the long term.
A joint event organised by the Academy for Volunteering, the Network for Cultural and Youth Work and Chemnitz City Library.
