One-day remodelling work in the Gablenz indoor swimming pool

Necessary conversion work on the heat distribution station in the Gablenz indoor swimming pool will make it necessary to close the pool all day on Tuesday, 18 February. Swimmers are asked to take note of this restriction.
The sports office has decided to carry out the work on a day during the winter holidays, thus avoiding the cancellation of lessons during school swimming on a day otherwise reserved for schools.
The planned remodelling work will noticeably improve the heat supply to the indoor swimming pool. The current problems with the continuous heat supply for heating the building and producing hot shower and bath water will be permanently eliminated with the work. The costs for the conversion work amount to approx. 13,000 euros.
