On the trail of nature in Glösa

20th GEO Day on 16 June, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For the 20th GEO Day of Nature next Saturday, 16 June 2018, the city's environmental centre, with funding from the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment, is once again organising an expert-led flying visit to explore the botanical and zoological features, this time around Glösa. The meeting point is 9 am at the "Kinderwaldstätte" railway station. Participation is free of charge.

Participants will visit the "Wet meadows at the Indian pond" natural monument, explore the Glösa forest and marvel at the diversity in the Arctic-Alpine garden. Land nets, cup magnifiers and carers are available for little nature detectives.
