On Children's Day: Small swimming festival at the Gablenz outdoor pool
Jumping and sliding competitions start on Sunday, 1 June from 10 a.m.
On Children's Day on Sunday, 1 June, the staff of the swimming pool department of the City of Chemnitz Sports Office are taking the opportunity to prepare a small swimming festival with jumping and sliding competitions for girls and boys at the Gablenz outdoor pool: The Gablenz outdoor pool will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, one hour before the regular opening time. The various competitions will start at around 10 am: a children's day slide and a jumping contest have been organised.
On the programme until around 3 p.m., or until 4 p.m. if the event is well attended, are a slide competition, a head long jump competition from the starting block and a jump competition from the jumping facility. There will also be a bouncy castle and a wheel of fortune. The winners of the three competitions will be awarded certificates and small prizes.
