Several multiple births at Chemnitz Zoo

On Saturday 27 February, the birth season of the dwarf goats was heralded at the farm, with triplets being born. Twins followed a day later and further births are expected soon.
As the temperatures are still very wintry at the moment and the ground is cold, the newborns and their mothers, as well as the animals about to give birth, are kept in the barn, so there may be no goats in the contact area at times.
