Numerous pieces of jewellery are auctioned off

Online auction runs until next Sunday

Until Sunday, 17 December, the lost property office of the City of Chemnitz is offering a large number of items of jewellery for sale via online customs auction whose owners have not claimed any losses and whose legal retention periods have now expired. Accessories such as bracelets and bangles, gold rings as well as pearl and gold chains will be auctioned off. Interested parties can start their search for a Christmas present just in time for Christmas. The auction can be accessed here.

The items to be auctioned can only be viewed on the website of Zoll-Auktion, the auction house of the federal, state and local governments. It is not possible to view the products in person in advance. The items can be seen in photos and are described in detail; any defects are explicitly pointed out. Buyers should bear in mind that the lost property is second-hand.

Only those who have previously registered on the Zoll-Auktion website can bid for the individual items. Once you have successfully registered, you can take part in the auction.

The auctions end on Sunday between 6 and 7 pm. As always with lost property auctions, the following applies: Items are auctioned as seen (in photos), there is no guarantee. Exchanges are also not possible. Items purchased at auction can only be collected by appointment. The lost property office will contact the highest bidder after the end of the auction. The amount will then be paid on site in cash or by EC card.
