Notice of property taxes due in 2019
The City of Chemnitz Tax and Revenue Office informs you that the last property tax assessment remains valid until it is replaced by a new assessment. The property tax is therefore due on 15 February, 15 May, 15 August and 15 November with the quarterly amount specified in the last property tax assessment notice sent, or as an annual amount on 15 August if this does not exceed EUR 15, or as an annual amount on 1 July (if the taxpayer's application was submitted by 30 September of the previous year).
Property tax payers are requested to continue to transfer or pay the property tax for 2019 to one of the City of Chemnitz's bank accounts or to make use of the SEPA direct debit procedure by the due dates and with the amounts resulting from the 2018 calendar year or the last notice sent to them, without being specifically requested to do so.
