Notes on the Flood Damage Directive
Using SAB forms - Overview of subsidy rates
At the end of August, the Free State of Bavaria finalised the flood damage guidelines for flood victims. Among other things, it includes higher funding rates for companies, private individuals and public infrastructure.
The applications to the Sächsische Aufbaubank SAB require confirmation from the municipality. The relevant forms are available online at www.sab.sachsen.de.
The forms for confirmation of the damage by the municipality must be submitted to the building permit office of the City of Chemnitz.
The following documents are required for property damage:
- Expert report in accordance with the Flood Directive 2013 (B III No. 4 and C III No. 4) The expert report must state the nature and extent of the damage that has occurred and list the proposed measures to remedy the damage.
In the case of damage to cultural monuments, the following documents are also required:
- Application form (form no. 68022) In copy
- Form for the determination of expenses (form no. 68023) in copy
It is advisable to submit the required authorisation under monument protection law to the building permit office at the same time.
Confirmation by the City of Chemnitz is free of charge.
