No cutting your own Christmas tree this year
Christmas tree sale by the City of Chemnitz Parks Department cancelled
This year it is unfortunately not possible to cut your own Christmas tree on the municipal areas of the City of Chemnitz.
As announced last year, it is currently not possible to offer trees of the same quality and size as Christmas trees. According to information from the forestry department, the small conifers still have to grow and will reach their stately Christmas tree sizes from 2024.
Last December, there was a great response to the Christmas tree cutting event. If the weather conditions are favourable and there is plenty of rain in the coming years, this beautiful Christmas tradition can soon take place again for everyone in Chemnitz.
