Next siren test alarm on 4 November
More new sirens in use for the first time
On Saturday, 4 November at 11 a.m., the sirens in Chemnitz will be tested again with a test alarm - as on the first Saturday of every month.
Additional sirens have been installed in recent weeks and will be tested for the first time this coming Saturday.
Sirens have been added at the following locations:
- Industrial Museum, Zwickauer Straße 119,
- Janusz Korczak School, Jugendweg 1a,
- Schönau primary school, Guerickestraße 38,
- DRK Hospital Chemnitz-Rabenstein, Unritzstraße 23,
- Reichenbrand primary school, Lennéstraße 1,
- Georg Götz" support centre, Richard-Wagner-Straße 76,
- Siegmar primary school, Kaufmannstraße 9, (already running since September)
