Next siren test alarm

From 5 November with the support of CVAG

On Saturday, 5 November at 11 a.m., the sirens in Chemnitz will be tested again - as on the first Saturday of every month - with a test alarm.

For the first time, Chemnitzer Verkehrs-AG (CVAG) will also take part in the test alarm, as it will support the city of Chemnitz in warning the population of dangers in future. In the event of a test and warning, announcements will be made via the dynamic passenger information displays (DFI) at CVAG stops. The information will also be displayed visually both at the stops and on the infotainment displays in the buses and trains.

The city of Chemnitz will also publicise the test alarm in advance on its social media channels in several languages - German, English, Ukrainian and Arabic.

The subsequent test alarm is scheduled for Saturday, 3 December.

The nationwide warning day, in which the city of Chemnitz is also participating, will take place this year on Thursday, 8 December.
