Next music café "DA CAPO - Music for seniors" on 7 March

On 7 March 2013, 3 p.m., Katja Kriesel and her DA CAPO group "Atem, Stimme und Gesang" will be welcomed as guests at the music café "DA CAPO - Musik für Senioren".

Katja Kriesel studied singing at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre. She was then a member of the ensemble at the Leipzig Opera and the Musikalische Komödie. She has performed a wide variety of opera and operetta roles, such as Stasi in "Die Csárdásfürstin", Glinda in "Der Zauberer von Oss" and Raka in "Die Blume von Hawaii". Guest performances have taken her to the opera houses in Oldenburg, Gera and Halle, among others.

Katja Kriesel currently teaches classical singing at the Städtische Musikschule Chemnitz, the Freie Musikschule and is a teacher for elementary music education in Stollberg and Lößnitz. She has become a role model for her pupils, young and old.

The friends of the music café experience a challenging lesson. Katja Kriesel demonstrates what the voice can do. And, of course, guests are encouraged to join in.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with coffee and cake with Mrs Kriesel and her DA CAPO group.

The entrance fee is 5 euros, including coffee and cake.

Wheelchair users please use the signposted side entrance.
