News from the zoo: Spring awakening

Many new arrivals among the birds - Exciting new species in the tropical house - Young animals among the wild boars

Spring seems to have arrived and beckons us outdoors. The zoo and wildlife park are worthwhile destinations.

The zoo has gained some new animal species. In the pheasantry and parrot house, you can now observe two New Guinea noble parrots, a green tree hoopoe, various finches and a crested quail.

Three terrariums with invertebrates have been set up in the tropical house (niche next to the spider monkeys). Representatives of the species black and red tarantula, black Asian scorpion and silver red-striped millipede now live here.

The herd of dwarf goats has grown by two young animals (one male, one female), which were born yesterday. The first offspring have arrived in the wild boar enclosure - eleven young boars are scurrying through the spacious enclosure.
