On Tuesday, 13 January, from 6 p.m., Lord Mayor Sven Schulze invites you to a New Year's reception at the Garagen-Campus, Zwickauer Straße 164 (admission from 5.30 p.m.). Together with numerous Chemnitz residents, he will give an outlook on the new year and look back on the past one, which for Chemnitz was characterised above all by the European Capital of Culture. State Minister Petra Köpping will give the welcoming address on behalf of the Free State of Saxony.
At the reception, Sven Schulze will once again award Chemnitz Honorary Thalers, which are given to honorary citizens of the city. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussions.
