New waste regulations adopted by the city of Chemnitz
At its meeting today, the City Council adopted the new waste regulations of the City of Chemnitz for the years 2016 to 2018. From 2016, the range of services offered by the waste disposal and city cleaning company of the City of Chemnitz (ASR) will be expanded once again.
From January 2016, Chemnitz residents will be able to dispose of bulky organic waste (tree, shrub and hedge cuttings) and bulky waste up to 2 cubic metres per delivery and day at the five municipal recycling centres (previously: limited to 2 cubic metres per household and year).
