New training for school mediators in spring 2020

The "Seniorpartner in School Sachsen" association is looking for school mediators to work at primary schools in Chemnitz. To this end, a qualified free training course lasting 96 hours will be offered from February.

The programme is aimed at young-at-heart senior citizens who care about children and their non-violent communication.

The aim of the training is to be available once a week in teams of two at a primary school yet to be named to mediate disputes between primary school pupils. The aim is to enable the children to resolve disputes independently and to show mutual respect.

The training takes place in the multi-generation centre at Irkutsker Str. 15, 09119 Chemnitz. The following training dates are planned for full days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m:

  • 24 to 27 February 2020
  • 1 to 4 April 2020
  • 14 to 17 April 2020
