New office building for SSV Textima Chemnitz e. V.

Opening on 21 August at 4 pm, Sportlerweg 15

On Friday 21 August at 4 pm, Mayor Ralph Burghart and Jens Köhler, Chairman of SSV Textima Chemnitz e. V., will open the club’s new facilities in the Erfenschlag district, at Sportlerweg 15.

Afterwards, club members and invited guests are invited to take a tour of the new premises and attend a small reception.
Media representatives are also welcome.

The result is a two-storey facility designed exclusively for sporting activities, with a total floor area of 357 square metres (ground floor: 155 square metres; first floor: 202 square metres).

On the ground floor there is an accessible changing room with an adjoining toilet and shower area, a first-aid room, separate guest toilets for ladies and gentlemen, a utility room for washing and drying sportswear, and two storage rooms, one of which is specifically for training equipment. The floor is complemented by a utility room and a services room, as well as access areas.

The upper floor forms the focal point for team activities. Four changing rooms for athletes, two separate toilet and shower areas, and dedicated rooms for coaches and referees have been created there. This brings the total number of changing rooms available to five.

From a technical perspective, the building is equipped with a modern heat pump system with an additional cooling function and a large-capacity system storage tank, a central ventilation system with heat recovery, and a photovoltaic system with battery storage.
Rainwater is allowed to seep away via an infiltration trench directly on the site.

Particularly noteworthy are the layout, which is consistently designed with sport in mind, the accessible area on the ground floor, and the cantilevered section of the building, which also creates a weather-protected outdoor area.

The total cost amounts to around 1.56 million euros. Of this, the City of Chemnitz is contributing around 830,000 euros and the Free State of Saxony around 700,000 euros, both from sports funding. The club itself is contributing 30,000 euros.

Club Festival
On Saturday 22 August, from 10.00 am, SSV Textima e. V. invites sports enthusiasts, members and supporters to a club festival to mark the club’s ‘150 Years + 1’ anniversary, centred around the new multi-purpose building.
