New music by young composers
Chemnitz Municipal Music School and Das Ufer Association invite you to a concert on Saturday, 11 October, 11 a.m., auditorium, André-Gymnasium
The Städtische Musikschule Chemnitz and the Das Ufer e. V. association invite you to a special family concert with the world premiere of new music in the auditorium of the Dr.-Wilhelm-André-Gymnasium Chemnitz (Henriettenstraße 35) on Saturday, 11 October at 11 am.
Under the title "Teivazaré - 948 bars of new music", compositions by young composers between the ages of seven and 20 from the Dresden composers' class will be presented. Performers at the Chemnitz concert will be musicians from the Dresden Symphony Orchestra. Compositions for accordion, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, guitar, viola and double bass will be premièred.
An ensemble from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School will perform at the opening of the concert.
Tickets are available before the start of the concert on Saturday morning directly in the school's auditorium at a price of 6 euros, concessions 3 euros.
The official concert premiere will take place in Dresden on Sunday, 12 October at the Hellerau Cultural Centre; the new works will once again be performed by members of the Dresden Symphony Orchestra.
