New meat atlas - recipes for better animal husbandry

Lecture at the Environmental Centre on 15 March, 7 pm

On Thursday, 15 March at 7 pm, Dr David Greve, Managing Director of BUND Sachsen, will present the new meat atlas at the Chemnitz Environmental Centre, Henriettenstraße 5.

The joint event organised by Chemnitz Adult Education Centre, NATUC Department for Ecology and Sustainability at Chemnitz University of Technology and Chemnitz Environmental Centre is sponsored by the Heinrich Böll Foundation Saxony Weiterdenken.

What's new about the meat atlas? Better animal husbandry is indeed possible! This meat atlas focuses on solutions and financing models for a turnaround in industrial meat production.

No other sector contributes so massively to animal suffering as industrial factory farming. After shocking images from stables, the majority of the German population is now prepared to spend more money on meat if the animals are kept better.
