New location for the Corona practice
Outpatient test centre of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians moves into the small exhibition hall
From Thursday, 1 October, the Corona Test Outpatient Clinic of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians will be located in the small exhibition hall (Hall 2) of the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre.
The move is necessary because Chemnitz Hospital needs the rooms previously provided for the normal care of its patients.
Patients without symptoms (returning travellers, teachers, private testing) can continue to be tested without an appointment from Thursday at the new location at the usual times:
Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm
Sunday from 9am to 12pm
Due to the move, the outpatient testing clinic at Chemnitz Hospital will be closed on Wednesday, 30 September.
From Monday 5 October, testing capacities will be extended to include patients with symptoms. The test times can then be utilised as follows:
Patients without symptoms (returning travellers, teachers, private testing):
Monday to Friday from 4pm to 4.45pm
Sunday from 9 am to 9.45 am.
Patients with symptoms (fever, cough, loss of taste):
Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon.
It is still not necessary to register in advance, but there may be waiting times.
