New head of the youth welfare office
Gunda Georgi will head the Youth and Family Office from 14 April. After seven years as Head of the Mayor's Office, Ms Georgi will once again be working in the department that has significantly shaped her professional biography: Prior to her move as head of the Mayor's Office, Gunda Georgi worked in the social sector for 21 years, during which time she held various managerial positions in the Youth and Social Services Department. Among other things, she managed a branch of the general social services of the Office for Youth and Family for several years as well as the social welfare department in the Social Welfare Office. She will use this experience to provide new impetus in the important area of youth and family.

Beate Frech-Döring, Head of the City Council Office, will take over as Acting Head of the Mayor's Office.
