At its meeting yesterday, the city council elected Enrico Böttcher as the new Head of Building Management and Structural Engineering. The 48-year-old succeeds Thomas Kütter, the new Mayor for Urban Development and Construction of the City of Chemnitz.
Enrico Böttcher lives in Mittweida and has worked as the managing director of various construction companies in Saxony in recent years. The civil and industrial engineer will take up his new position as Head of Office as soon as possible.
In addition to the construction of schools, day-care centres and other municipal buildings, the Office for Facility Management and Building Construction is also responsible for the technical maintenance and administration of the city of Chemnitz's buildings.
