New guideline of the City of Chemnitz for the granting of subsidies in the field of art and culture

On Wednesday, 14 October at 11 a.m., Ralph Burghart, Mayor for Education, Social Affairs, Youth, Culture and Sport, together with the City of Chemnitz's cultural department, invites representatives of the media to a press conference on the publication of the new "City of Chemnitz Guidelines for the Granting of Grants in the Field of Art and Culture".
The press conference will take place on the ground floor of the TIETZ by the stage.
Mayor Ralph Burghart, the Cultural Department, the Chairman of the Cultural Advisory Board Egmont Elschner and the umbrella organisation Netzwerk für Kultur- und Jugendarbeit e. V. will provide information on the history of the guideline's development based on the cultural strategy, the main innovations and the connection to the City of Chemnitz's bid to become European Capital of Culture 2025.
The funding guideline will gradually come into force on 1 January 2021 with full effect for the funding year 2022. It will be published online and in print on the day of the press conference.
