New exhibition at the public health department
Andrea Schröder-Patzer shows works under the motto "Colour is my life"
A new exhibition will open tomorrow at the City of Chemnitz Health Department in Am Rathaus 8: Sculptural acrylic paintings and photographs of large-format murals by Andrea Schröder-Patzer from Chemnitz will be on display until 26 September in the areas of the health department that are also open to the public.
The exhibition will be opened in the presence of the artist - invitations are issued for 1.30 p.m. on the first floor of the public health department. Citizens and representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
Andrea Schröder-Patzer comes from a well-known family in Chemnitz with a strong artistic background. She successfully pursued her career goal - training as a theatre painter with a master's degree - in her home town at the (then) Karl-Marx-Städter Opernhaus. Andrea Schröder-Patzer has been working as a freelance illusion, carousel and mural painter since 1988. The artist has chosen "Colour is my life" as the motto for her exhibition, which opens tomorrow at the Chemnitz Health Department.
After the opening, the paintings can be viewed during the opening hours of the public health department: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30 am to 12 noon, Tuesday and Thursday additionally from 2 pm to 5.30 pm.
