New construction phase begins on Neefestraße
Short-term full closure of the street "Im Neefepark" from 19 June, 9 p.m. to 20 June, 5 p.m.
From 9 pm today, 19 June, until 5 pm tomorrow, 20 June, the road "Im Neefepark" below the bridge construction site must be closed for the concreting of the northern bridge structure.
From 20 June to 19 July 2024, construction phase 3.3 will also begin parallel to the current construction phase, in which the landward carriageway will be renewed up to the motorway bridge.
One lane of overland traffic will continue to be maintained, while the north-eastern access and exit to/from the A72 motorway in the direction of Chemnitz-Mitte will be fully closed.
Appropriate diversions will be signposted. By bringing forward construction phase 3.3, originally planned for August/September, to the summer holidays, the closure of Neefestraße on the city side during this construction phase can be avoided.
The construction work is on schedule.
