New commercial director introduces herself
Press conference with Lord Mayor Sven Schulze: Tuesday, 12.30 pm, Council Chamber
On Tuesday, 31 May at 12.30 pm, Andrea Pier, the commercial director of Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 GmbH, will introduce herself in the council chamber of the town hall, Markt 1. Lord Mayor Sven Schulze invites you to the regular press conference, where representatives of the media will have the opportunity to put questions to Andrea Pier.
Andrea Pier, born in 1969, will be responsible for the organisational and financial side of the GmbH alongside Managing Director Stefan Schmidtke. She has worked for Stage Entertainment, one of the world's leading live entertainment companies, for more than 20 years - most recently as a producer for the Berlin region and the tour business as well as Head of Human Resources for more than 1,300 employees. She also managed the Theater des Westens in Berlin for many years.
Andrea Pier will take up her new role in autumn 2022.
