The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's programme for the 2023 summer semester will be published in printed form on Monday, 6 February. From 10 a.m. on this day, the semester catalogue will be available in the rooms of the adult education centre and in the foyer of the TIETZ.
The complete programme for the coming summer semester, which begins on 6 March 2023, is listed in the 296-page catalogue and is available to take away free of charge.
The programme is also available online at www.vhs-chemnitz.de.
Around 580 courses from six subject areas are waiting to be discovered, booked and attended. The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is relying on its tried-and-tested variety of tried-and-tested and new programmes. As in previous semesters, Chemnitz Adult Education Centre offers courses in various formats. In addition to traditional face-to-face teaching, there are online events and an increasing number of hybrid courses. The latter allow participation both on site and online.
The summer semester at Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is all about sustainability. As an interdisciplinary focus, ideas for a sustainable everyday life characterise the programme. With almost 50 events - from nature excursions, old crafts, upcycling workshops and cookery and sewing courses to themed lectures and discussions - all subject areas invite interested parties to discover, learn and participate.
"On course" for the adult education centre market day
On Thursday, 9 February, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the freshly printed programme booklet will be presented to the public at the traditional "Market Day" of the adult education team at Chemnitz Neumarkt. If you would like to get to know the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre team as well as the new programme booklet, then Neumarkt is the place to be on this day. The Adult Education Centre staff invite you to their "Market Day" stand. In addition to the semester catalogue, there will be many a blooming surprise and a lively exchange about offers and course requests.

If you decide on a course while browsing through the programme, you don't have to hesitate to book. If something does come up before the date, it is possible to cancel free of charge up to six working days before the start of the course.
