New Chemnitz Adult Education Centre programme booklet published

The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's programme booklet for the 2023 winter semester will be published on Monday, 21 August. The semester catalogue will be on display in the Adult Education Centre's rooms and in the foyer of the TIETZ from 10 a.m. on this day.
The complete programme for the coming winter semester, which begins on 4 September 2023, is listed in the 296-page catalogue and is available to take away free of charge. The programme has been available online at www.vhs-chemnitz.de since mid-June.
Around 630 courses from six subject areas are waiting to be discovered, booked and attended. The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is once again presenting a balanced mix of tried-and-tested and new programmes. Focal points from individual subject areas set special accents. In the creative area, for example, the focus will be on photography. Its stylistic and technical diversity is reflected in the 21 courses on offer.
Across disciplines, numerous events deal with smart digital technologies, which now characterise many areas of our lives. These include health apps, smart home systems and the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Last but not least, the sensitive topic of ageing will be addressed in all its many facets. In addition to empathetic and informative events on dealing with illness and coping with loss and grief, inspiration and suggestions for an active, happy and fulfilling retirement are offered. This also includes specially tailored exercise and creative courses.
Flexible with format
As in previous semesters, Chemnitz Adult Education Centre offers courses in various formats. In addition to traditional face-to-face teaching, there are also online events and hybrid courses. The latter allow students to participate both live and online.
"On course" for the adult education centre market day
On Thursday, 24 August, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the freshly printed programme booklet will be presented to the public at the traditional "Market Day" of the adult education team at Chemnitz Neumarkt. Anyone who would like to get to know the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre team as well as the new programme booklet is in the right place on this day at Neumarkt. The freshly printed semester catalogue will be available to take away, as well as practical gifts and a lively exchange about courses and course requests.

If you decide on a course while browsing through the programme, you don't have to hesitate to book. If something does come up before the date, it is possible to cancel free of charge up to six working days before the start of the course.
