The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's programme booklet for the 2025 summer semester will be published on Monday, 10 February. The semester catalogue will be available from 10 a.m. on this day in the Adult Education Centre rooms and in the foyer of the TIETZ. The freshly printed programme will be distributed in person on Thursday, 13 February, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the adult education team's traditional market day at Chemnitz Neumarkt.
The adult education centre is now presenting its programme for the coming summer semester, which begins on 3 March 2025, in printed form in the 268-page catalogue.
The programme has been available online at www.vhs-chemnitz.de since 2 December 2024.
Around 550 courses from six subject areas are waiting to be discovered, booked and attended.
True to its annual motto "vhs pur " , the Adult Education Centre 2025 focuses on its core areas of current affairs and discourse, art and culture, living consciously, foreign languages, careers and digitalisation. When browsing through the new programme, anyone interested can look forward to both tried-and-tested classic courses and exciting new topics and series of events.
"On course" for the adult education centre market day
If you would like to get to know the team at Chemnitz Adult Education Centre as well as the new programme booklet, then Thursday 13 February at Neumarkt is the day for you.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Adult Education Centre staff will be inviting you to their "Market Day" stand. There you will find the freshly printed semester catalogue, some small gifts and a lively exchange about offers and course requests.

If you decide on a course, don't hesitate to book. If something does come up before the deadline, it is possible to cancel free of charge up to six working days before the start of the course. For personal enquiries, the adult education centre's service desk at the TIETZ is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
