"Neue Johannisvorstadt" - Information event

On Tuesday, 20 September, from 5 to 7 pm, the Department of Urban Development and Construction, in cooperation with the district management of Chemnitz-Innenstadt, invites all interested parties to find out more about the construction activities in the "Neue Johannisvorstadt".
Investors, project managers and architects will provide information on their construction projects on construction sites 1 to 6. Following a short series of presentations, there will be the opportunity for an open exchange with the speakers and the Mayor of Construction, Michael Stötzer.
The event will take place in the TIETZ, event hall of the Chemnitz City Library, Moritzstraße 20 and is part of the "Neighbourhood Talks" information series.
The "Neighbourhood Talks" series is a cooperation between the City of Chemnitz and the Chemnitz city centre district management, in which building mayors and specialist departments or planners and developers give talks on various topics and citizens can exchange ideas with them.
Topics have included the Getreidemarkt, the theatre quarter, the new Johannisvorstadt district and city centre development in general.
Previous events have taken place in the youth church, the City community centre, the former All in or the open space behind the Karl-Marx-Kopf. During the coronavirus restrictions, the neighbourhood talks were broadcast on Radio T (on the topics of Getreidemarkt and Johannisvorstadt).
