"Neue HeimArt" in the programme of the Intercultural Weeks
18 artists from nine countries exhibit at the Art-Eck gallery in Chemnitz
The programme of the Intercultural Weeks in Chemnitz from 21 September to 6 October.The programme of the Intercultural Weeks 2013 organised in Chemnitz from 21 September to 6 October also includes encounters with contemporary visual art: For example, an exhibition will present the extraordinary international project "Neue HeimArt", in which 18 artists from nine countries living in Chemnitz and the surrounding area are taking part, including Ukraine, Hungary, Portugal, Chile, Russia, Bulgaria, Mexico, Armenia and Nicaragua. The exhibition, the first of its kind in Chemnitz, includes works of painting, graphic art, sculpture, photography and digital art.
The vernissage with an intercultural programme will take place on Sunday, 22 September at 19:30 at the Art-Eck Galerie, Moritzstraße in 09111 Chemnitz. The works shown here will then be on display until 26 October.

The Intercultural Weeks in Chemnitz will be opened on Saturday, 21 September with a festival on the Neumarkt at the town hall (PM 593 from 13.09.2013). All information about the programme can be found online at www.chemnitz.de
