Network meeting for European Mobility Week
City of Chemnitz takes part in the Federal Environment Agency's online workshop on 5 and 6 November 2020
The City of Chemnitz is taking part in the annual European Mobility Week network meeting, to which the National Coordination Unit at the Federal Environment Agency and the City of Kassel are inviting participants on 5 and 6 November - this year online.
Employees of the EU office and the NUMIC project will contribute to the online workshop and exchange experiences with other stakeholders who have organised individual events for European Mobility Week in their cities across Germany in September or coordinated the week of action.
Dirk Stochla, Head of Transport in the city of Kassel, explains the programme of the European Mobility Week there. In an interactive exchange, digital working groups will work on relevant topics with the help of a virtual whiteboard. The results will be presented by the participants in a virtual plenary session.
The city of Chemnitz was also specifically asked by the Federal Environment Agency to represent Saxony on the second day. With only one participant from each federal state, the exchange and work from the previous day will be intensified in a small group.
