Under the motto "Nature says A - waste, wastewater, waste gas", schoolchildren are invited to the Kraftwerk e.V. socio-cultural centre at Kaßbergstr. 36 on 2 and 4 November and kindergarten children on 9 and 11 November.

The aim is to deal with topics such as upcycling, air pollutants, wastewater treatment, cycles in nature, paper recycling, waste avoidance, waste separation and waste recycling. The various topics are developed in an age-specific way with experiments and activities.

The education market is organised by the Environmental Centre of the City of Chemnitz and carried out together with many partners, some of whom have been involved for many years.

"The aim is to reorient education and learning so that everyone has the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to contribute to sustainable development."

An exhibition entitled "Education for Sustainable Development", in which projects and initiatives from the Chemnitz region are presented, can be seen from 1 to 11 November in the foyer (ground floor) of the Kraftwerk e.V. socio-cultural centre.
