Nature conservation on the edge of a big city

Environment Agency invites you to the last lecture of the year

The last lecture of the monthly events of the voluntary nature conservation service this year will take place on Tuesday, 22 November 2016, 5 pm in the citizens' room of the Chemnitz-Adelsberg nature conservation station at Adelsbergstraße 192.

The volunteer nature conservation assistant and area manager Mr Christian Schwarze will present "his" nature conservation area (NSG) in a second part. The lecture on the topic "The nature reserve 'Am nördlichen Zeisigwald' - nature conservation on the edge of a large city" will provide information on the current development and the existing requirements for the protection and care of this valuable area. Flora and fauna will be presented, implemented measures explained and existing conflicts highlighted.

The event is free of charge. All nature conservation helpers and citizens interested in the topic are cordially invited. Due to the shortage of parking spaces on site, we recommend travelling by public transport (tram line 5 to the Pappelhain stop).
