Guided tour of the special exhibition "Under the Spell of Plants - The Dose Makes the Poison" in Arabic for the first time on 17 October
Student Jennifer Wissam Diab Alkhoury is offering three themed guided tours of the special exhibition "Under the Spell of Plants - The Dose Makes the Poison" at the Museum of Natural History in Arabic. On 17 and 24 October and 2 November at 4 pm, interested visitors will have the opportunity to take a free 45-minute guided tour with the native speaker.
European plant species with healing but also deadly effects will be presented. At the end, participants can create their own tea blend for a good cup of tea.

Jennifer Wissam Diab Alkhoury was born and grew up in Lebanon. She has been attending the specialised secondary school for business and administration in Chemnitz for a few months now. During an internship, she learnt about the museum's educational work. Inspired by this and the content of the special exhibition "Under the Spell of Plants - The Dose Makes the Poison", she had the idea of offering a guided tour of the museum in her native language.
She worked hard on the technical content and developed a bilingual flyer to advertise the programme. "I know many of the plants presented in the exhibition from Lebanon. For example, we use autumn crocus to flavour many dishes," says the young Lebanese woman.
