Natural history tour between wind turbines and rock domes
This year's first monthly excursion in the programme of events organised by the volunteer nature conservation service will take place on Tuesday, 28 May and will lead to Rabenstein. Nature conservation helpers and anyone else interested in the "Natural history tour between wind turbines and rock domes" are cordially invited - participation in the excursion is free of charge.
The excursion will be led by Gerd Fanghänel and Katrin Fischer, employees of the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency. They will draw attention to interventions in nature and improvements through compensatory measures.
The meeting point is 5 p.m. at the Röhrsdorfer Straße/Kreisigstraße junction. Note: As there is only limited space for parking cars here, we recommend carpooling, travelling by public transport (bus route 32 to the Hans-Benz-Straße stop) or by bike - or coming on foot.
