Natural history hike around the Indian pond

After the summer break, the volunteer nature conservation service will resume its monthly events on Tuesday, 27 August: This time, you are invited to a nature walk around the Indian pond in Chemnitz-Ebersdorf. Jens Börner and Bernd Irmscher from the Environment Agency's Lower Nature Conservation Department will lead the excursion and present protected areas with their plants and animals, biotopes and compensation areas, protection and maintenance measures.

The meeting point is 5 p.m. at the Kinderwaldstätte railway station. Nature conservation helpers and all other interested citizens are cordially invited to join the excursion. Participation is free of charge. Sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather are recommended.
