From 21 to 31 May, the third and final round - the national level - of this year's "Jugend musiziert" competition took place in Munich and Regensburg, where talented musicians from all over Germany showcased their skills.
Pupils from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School also impressed with their outstanding performances, having previously prevailed at regional and state level.
In the accordion chamber music category, Nancy Kühnel (flute) and Richard Junge (accordion) impressed as a duo and secured 2nd prize with 23 out of 25 points.
Jakob Stöß (oboe), Theodor Börner (oboe) and Ronja Liebich (cor anglais) achieved 20 out of 25 points as a trio in the chamber music for wind instruments category, securing 3rd prize.
The Municipal Music School congratulates all the participants on their outstanding achievements and wishes them continued success and enjoyment on their musical journey.
